Intro

WishGravityAppOrg project administration is obliged to maintain your privacy on the Internet. We pay great attention to securing the data you provided to us. Our privacy policy is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. The purposes, for which we collect your personal data are: improvement of our service, communication with visitors to this website and application (further shortly app), newsletters, and for other actions listed below.

Personal data storage and processing

Personal data (usually referred to just as “data” below) will only be processed by us to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website and app experience, including its contents, and the services offered there.

Per Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”), “processing” refers to any operation or set of operations such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment, or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction performed on personal data, whether by automated means or not.

The following privacy policy is intended to inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis for the processing of such data either under our own control or in conjunction with others. We also inform you below about the third-party components we use to optimize our website and app and improve the user experience which may result in said third parties also processing data they collect and control.

I. The rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing to be described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right to confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the data being processed and also they have the right to remove the data or revoke consent to the data processing, further information about the nature of the data processing, and copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR); to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR); to the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 DSGVO), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary as stipulated in Art. 17 Para. 3 GDPR, to restrict said processing per Art. 18 GDPR;

In addition, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses data of any such corrections, deletions, or restrictions placed on processing the same per Art. 16, 17 Para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Nevertheless, users have a right to information about these recipients.

Likewise, under Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the controller’s future processing of their data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.

WishGravityAppOrg provides the following functionality for you to manipulate your personal data:

  • you may correct/update all the personal data you provided on the platform.
  • you may reject/restrict your personal data processing at any moment by configuring the settings of the app.
  • you may uninstall/remove the account at any moment so all your personal data will be erased. 

II. Information about the data processing

Your data processed when using our website or app will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.

Personal user information

In order to provide the service WishGravityAppOrg asks the user the following personal information during the usage of the service:

  1. During registration process (applicable only to the app):
  • email – is used in order to verify the provided contact information and will be required in case WishGravityAppOrg will need to inform the user about the important service changes or provide notification services.
  • user name – is the personal information that is asked only for the reasons of communication policies between users accepted by the WishGravityAppOrg community. It’s used to address the user in a personalised way.
  • date of birth – is the personal information that is asked only for the reasons that the service must conduct the restrictions forced by the law, as the service is intended for persons over 16 years of age.
  • profile description – is the personal information that is asked only for the reasons of communication policies between users accepted by the WishGravityAppOrg community. Is only used to facilitate future communication within the gravity community. 
  • gender – is the personal information that used to facilitate comfortable future communication within the gravity community. It can also be used by the service to help find exactly that circle of communication which is interesting to the user at the moment.
  • profile photos – is the personal information that is asked only for the reasons of communication policies between users accepted by the WishGravityAppOrg community. Is only used to facilitate future communication within the gravity community. To add this content the service may request access to your photo gallery. This content could be processed for safety and compliance with the rules of behavior in the service (see Terms of Service for more information).
  1. Also after registration in the service the user may be asked to provide additional information about himself/herself in order to improve the quality of the service, for example (applicable only to the app): 
  • user’s current wish 
  • search preferences

Specifying this information is optional when using the service and is only used to improve the quality of the service for the user.

  1. If you contact our service support, the support team may request additional minimum necessary personal information from you to provide a resolution to your issue.

Information about you that we receive from other users

To ensure the safety of our service we may collect reports from other users about you if you break the rules of service use or rules of behavior on the service in order to ensure the safety of service members (see Terms of Service for more information). 

Server data that is generated automatically when you use the service

         For technical reasons, the following data sent by your internet browser or by the app to our server backend or to our server provider, to ensure a secure and stable service work: 

  • Activity logs

Server log files record the type and version of your browser/app, operating system, the website from which you came (referrer URL), the webpages/items on our site/app visited, the date and time of your visit, as well as the IP address from which you visited our service.

The data thus collected will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of your data.

The basis for this storage is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted within no more than 30 days, unless continued storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In which case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.

  • Cookies (only website relevant)

a) Session cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.  

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing us, for example, to display our website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships.

If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted.

b) Third-party cookies

If necessary, our website may also use cookies from companies with whom we cooperate for the purpose of advertising or improving the features of our website.

c) Disabling cookies

You can refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser. Likewise, you can use the browser to delete cookies that have already been stored. However, the steps and measures required vary, depending on the browser you use. Browser settings cannot prevent so-called flash cookies from being set. Instead, you will need to change the setting of your Flash player. If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, not all of the functions on our site may be fully usable.

  • Optional data with your explicit consent:
  • Precise geolocation data (app only): If you give us your consent, we can collect your precise geolocation (latitude and longitude) from your device. The collection of your geolocation may occur in the background even when you aren’t using the services if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection. If you decline permission for us to collect your precise geolocation, we will not collect it, and our services that rely on precise geolocation may not be available to you.
Newsletter

If you register for our free newsletter, the data requested from you for this purpose, i.e. your email address and, optionally, your name and address, will be sent to us. We also store the IP address of your computer and the date and time of your registration. During the registration process, we will obtain your consent to receive this newsletter and the type of content it will offer, with reference made to this privacy policy. The data collected will be used exclusively to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

You may revoke your prior consent to receive this newsletter under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. All you have to do is inform us that you are revoking your consent or click on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

Google Analytics

             We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland (hereinafter: Google).

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze how our website is used. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our site.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, place, time, or frequency of your visits to our website will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function, whereby Google truncates the IP address within the EU or the EEA before it is transmitted to the US.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and what visitors do once there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and of the internet in general.

Google states that it will not connect your IP address to other data. In addition, Google provides further information with regard to its data protection practices at

The add-on informs Google Analytics’ JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services we may use as detailed herein data.

             Our service Gravity may contain links to other websites, which are not under our control. We are not responsible for the content of these websites. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the privacy policy of every website that you visit, if such policy exists.


Changes to the privacy policy

             From time to time, our website Gravity may update our privacy policy. We inform about any changes to the privacy policy, placed on this webpage. We are monitoring any changes in legislation, which is related to personal data in European Union and United Kingdom. If you have entered any of your personal data on our website, we will inform you about the changes in our privacy policy. If your personal data, and more specifically, your contact information was entered incorrectly, we will not be able to contact you.


Feedback and final clauses

             You can contact the administration of Gravity regarding any questions related to privacy policy on: e-mail, or by filling a contact form specified in a corresponding section of this website. If you do not agree with this privacy policy, you cannot use the services of Gravity. In this case you should avoid visiting our service.
