The art of writing perfected by Gottfried Pott

Autumn is a time for contemplation, a time for rethinking. A time to enjoy the most exquisite art! In October, the Benedictine Abbey of Seligenstadt becomes a lively setting for Gottfried Pott’s beautiful exhibition of caligraphic works relating to the work of Charlemagne’s famous biographer, Einhard, and the cultural significance of the imperial scriptural reforms.

Caligraphy and the art of writing is a form that multiplies the power of the written word itself, writing can lead to a resonance of meaning and you can experience this in the Gottfried Potts exhibition.

You can enjoy this beauty in the free and open exhibition from 3 October to 1 November 2023.

Opening and vernissage: Tuesday, 3 October 2023, 11.30 a.m.
Greeting: Dagmar B.Nonn-Adams, retired mayor.
Introduction: Dr. Stefan Soltek, Klingspormuseum Offenbach

On Sunday, 15 October
at 11.30 a.m., the artist invites you to a lecture and a guided tour of the exhibition.

The finissage is on Wednesday, 1 November at 11.30 am.
